You can drive. Take the Eurotunnel to Calais (France) and from there it's 1800 km (1200 miles). All on motorways partly Pay-as-you-go tolls
Most of our guests fly directly to Porto and rent a car at the airport. Most Airlines offer a Fly-Drive possibility.
If you rent a car ,not in combination with your flight, it is possible that you pay more allthough a few of our guests recommend Sixt Car rental. This seems to be very reasonable.
