The grounds of the quinta is a very peaceful place. All the separate buildings are amongst the trees and one of the olive groves is even older then the house itself. At the front of the main holiday house there is a 300 year old cork tree. Behind the old buildings, a big field is located with lots of fruit trees, like fig, orange, apple and pear. You will also find a big vegetable garden with lots of different vegetables. Most of the time it is not necessary to buy fruit and vegetables, you are welcome to help yourself!
It is definitely an area to wander around and if you have any dogs with you, they will love exploring the area. There is also another dog, named Pet, but will only be around when the owners are home at night.

The quinta is a pet-friendly place. For example, dogs can run around free as much as they like!

The owners of the quinta are Portuguese and called Miguel and Dores Magalhães. Both of them work during the day and will be home at night. Miguel speaks a little bit of English and French. Dores only speaks Portuguese, but you will find that understanding each other is not that much of a problem. They are extremely hospitable and friendly, trying to maintain the house and surroundings in the authentic way and it is their purpose to have their guests enjoy it as much as possible.
