Do you want a holiday in paradise? Quiet and peaceful, beautiful surroundings on a domain with a private swimming pool.
Quinta de Cainhos is a domain of 90 ha. Here you can find olive trees (300 years old), cork oak trees, fruit trees and a vegetable garden. All fruits and vegetables are free to pick.
The main house is build in 1589 and during time renovated while keeping the Portuguese style and atmosphere.
It has a comfortable living room, kitchen with all appliances, 3 bedrooms with double beds, bathroom with shower and bath. All bed sheets and towels are supplied.
Next to the main house is a large swimming pool which is private for the guests of the main house.
There is a big terrace with a barbecue, but there are more locations to sit in the sun or shade.
The wine cellar is renovated and open to guests of the main house. This is a cool room for hot days where you can enjoy your dinner, read a book or play table-tennis.
Starting 2011 there is also the possibility to rent Casa do Sobreiral. This is a house at the edge of the domain, with a separate driveway. This house has a living room with a open planned kitchen, 1 bedroom with double bed and 1 large bathroom on the ground floor. On the first floor there is a second large bedroom and a bathroom. Both bedrooms have a double bed. There is a big garden and you can reach the back part of the quinta through a door in the fence to make a hike or get some fruits or vegetables.
